Service Sunday: Wrestle with the Call of Reparations

Online WorshipSusie Silversmith

Please join us Sunday for a very special Service Sunday. In alignment with this month’s theme of healing, we will take a closer look at reparations, particularly as it relates to Native Americans during this season of Thanksgiving. We are thrilled to welcome back Susie Silversmith, an activist on Native American issues and boarding school educators. Together we will view her short documentary film, The Cutting of the Tsiiyéél. Susie is from the Diné/Navajo Nation, born and raised on the Navajo Reservation, from Klagetoh, AZ. Immediately following the service, we will have a discussion with Susie about her experiences and her thoughts on reparations. We hope you will join us!

Shared Plate:

This Sunday we will share our offering with the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition.
