At PrairieUU, our congregation is committed to rock-star hospitality where all visitors, friends, and members feel welcome and cared for within our community.

First-time visitors are encouraged to sign our Guest Book. We welcome you, and look forward to sharing information and help you make connections within our congregation.

As part of a faith community that cares for each other, PrairieUU offers many opportunities to deepen our truest selves, connect authentically with others, and engage with needs beyond our own. Every role is valued and important, no matter how big or small. Authenticity, connection, and depth of relationships are cherished in this vibrant and diverse community. The best advice is to jump in!

Getting together for a congregation-wide social event is another way PrairieUU strives to build community. Every year we have several social events where all are welcome. There are a myriad of small group gatherings designed to help enrich our sense of community and connection. All members and friends are welcome to join any of our social groups at any time.

Circle Suppers: We encourage all to take part in these fun monthly meals, and to use them to forge connections within our Prairie community! Date, time and menu are up to the host(s). If you’re willing to open your home to folks from Prairie for future potluck-style dinners, please email [email protected] with your preferred date and start time, the number of folks you can accommodate, and what you plan to serve.

Prairie UU Book Club: Meets monthly to discuss books centered around social justice, diversity, inclusion, etc. Hosted by Carol Morrison and Sarah Melius. Please contact: [email protected] with any questions!

Musical Jam Sessions: Let’s make music together! Join us at the Spirit of Life/Baldwin Gulch property every second and fourth Thursday from 4:30PM – 6:00PM. All are welcome! Hosted by Clark and Claudia. All are welcome!

Creative Connections Arts & Crafts Group: Our newest community group, Creative Connections encourages you to bring your own arts & crafts projects to share with the group, and to work on while engaged in discussion and fellowship. Contact Brenda Peterson or Cindy Williams with inquiries, and watch this space for updates and information on scheduling!
