What is a Member?
According to our bylaws (Article 1, Section 15), a Member is a person who:
- is any person who supports the mission and programs of the Church,
- has completed the Prairie UU Church Coming of Age program or reached the age of 16,
- maintains behavior that is compatible with the spirit and safety of the community,
- has signed the Membership Book, and
- completes an annual pledge form and makes an annual recorded contribution.
According to our Members, a Member is a person who:
- shares the values of Unitarian Universalists.
- is supported in their journey by the members and ministries of the congregation.
- actively engages in their own spiritual development.
- supports the congregation as generously as they can with their time, talent & money.
- seeks to live their UU values in the world.
