Community Fund

PrairieUU Community Fund, a discretionary fund with money available to members of our congregation. Please contact Vivian or a member of the COSM if you need assistance. Examples of the use of these funds include paying an energy bill, buying groceries, or fixing your car.

Share the Plate/General

At least one Sunday each month, usually on a “Service Sunday,” we share with a local charitable organization whose mission we wish to support with half of the funds from the collection plate. Special contributions to the organization may also be made to the share-the-plate fund in the week following a Service Sunday.

We Believe Survivors

PrairieUU has established a dedicated fund to assist survivors of sexual assault and abuse to help with the costs of mental health support and legal fees. While we recognize that this in and of itself is not likely to completely cover either the financial and emotional costs of survivorship, our hope is that survivors will know that here, they are believed and supported.
