Iris Wong
Iris is currently a music teacher and choral director at a K-8 public school. She joined prairie as an accompanist in the summer of 2024. She has been playing piano for over 16 years and earned ABRSM certifications in both piano and cello during high school.
Iris began teaching piano and music theory at the age of 18. She has performed as a cellist in a quintet ensemble and participated in various college orchestras, demonstrating her versatility and dedication to music. She spent a year in music composition school before moving to Colorado.
In addition to her classical background, Iris has composed pop music, video game music, EDM, and ambient music as a side gig. She has also worked with Minecraft Minigame developers, creating customized music for their games. Iris joined Prairie UU as its accompanist in the Summer of 2024.
