My husband, Kevin, and I moved to Colorado 8 years ago with our four children. My parents joined the UU church after they got married, and I was dedicated to the UU church when I was born. My first job was as an Administrative Assistant for Unirondack, the UU church camp in the Adirondack Mountains, where I was a camper for ten years and then later an employee for three summers. Kevin and I got married both in the Catholic church, his faith, and the UU church in November 1990. We raised our children with exposure to both religions to give them freedom of choice and a diverse experience. All four of them were baptized in the Catholic church as well as dedicated in the UU church as babies. As a lifelong Unitarian Universalist, my faith is very much a part of who I am.
