In keeping with all we hold sacred and in solidarity with the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Board of Trustees of Prairie Unitarian Universalist Church formally objects to the recent U.S. attacks on Iran. This action displays a shocking sense of impunity and recklessness that could worsen the already inflamed tensions in the region and increase global insecurity. We hold in our hearts those across the entire region who have been killed and the innocents who are left traumatized and grieving. We also unite with the international community in calling for peace and the end to suffering in the Middle East.
