God and Country
We will gather at 6:30PM; the film will begin at 7PM. We will have a discussion
afterward hosted by Tom Abood. Please bring a snack to share.
God & Country is a 2024 American documentary film directed by Dan Partland and
produced by Rob Reiner. The film discusses the emergence of Christian
nationalism and its close relationship with far-right politics in the United States,
exploring its perceived threat to democracy and the politicization of Christianity. The
documentary is based on Katherine Stewart’s book The Power Worshippers (2020).

Young Adult Regional Gathering:
October 24 , 2024

A second Regional Young Adult Gathering has been launched, widening our circle to now be hosted at Jefferson Unitarian!
We will have a potluck and a facilitated spiritual discussion, and probably, more singing! Yay!
Please let any folks in your community know!
(Young Adult can mean anyone below 40)
The goal of this event is to create connections across congregational lines as well as encourage YAs to be leaders in their respective communities. Let’s widen the circle and make it happen.

A generous offer from Joanna Shukert, of our Prairie Community…

If any of you are considering buying or selling a home, or know someone who is, I’m offering to donate half my net commission from any transaction originating from a Prairie member. The funds will be donated directly to Prairie in your name. As you know, home prices have doubled in recent years (along with real estate commissions), so I’m happy to make this offer on an ongoing basis. I’ve worked as a Denver realtor for 15 years and have been in the top 5-10% of HomeSmart agents over the past 3 years. I’d be honored to assist with any buy or sell transaction in the metro area. I also offer free advice or guidance on anything real estate related, so please reach out anytime if I can help.
Please email Joanna to learn more!
