Habitat Interfaith Alliance
Prairie UU is a long-time member of the Habitat Interfaith Alliance, partnering with other churches and synagogues to help build a house each year.
This is HIA’s 25th year!!
On Saturday, April 11 we will be helping build a new house alongside members of First Universalist Church. If you’re interested, there are two options:
Put on your jeans and grab some gloves, and help with the construction
OR
Help provide lunch for the group.

Bridge House Ready to Work
Volunteers Needed
Since the first of the year, Jenny S. has revived Prairie’s connection to volunteering at Bridge House Ready to Work. Once a month, she takes 5 dozen cupcakes to the birthday party for residents who are celebrating that month. Sometimes Shirley, Jenny R. and granddaughter, Molly, have helped but more volunteers are needed, especially since Molly returns to college this week.
The cupcakes need to be delivered to Bridge House on the third Thursday of each month before the afternoon party.
