Water Communion

Join us for a Water Communion ritual conducted in Unitarian Universalist churches all over the world at this time of year. Bring a small jar or vial of water from a place that is meaningful to you. That may be from your garden hose, a stream nearby, a pond, your bathtub, etc.  As you gather it, think of one word that describes what it means to you. Perhaps it represents joy, peace, calm, connection, mystery, family, etc. We will join our waters and celebrate our connection in the ritual process. Don’t worry, if you forget, there will be water available so you can participate. The service will be led by Rev. Kelly Dignan. She is a Unitarian Universalist community minister who offers spiritual direction and meditation groups. She has served as minister of three UU congregations in Colorado and loves our faith’s commitment to an ongoing search for truth and meaning.
