Telling Stories

We are called homo sapiens, “wise man”, but are we really homo fictus, story-telling man?  We will explore how we represent the world and our place in it as a continuous story we tell ourselves.  We have seen in recent years how easy it is to tell ourselves falsehoods and fairy tales.  How do we tell ourselves stories that are accurate and true?
