Brenda Hope Peterson was born in Albuquerque, NM, where most of her family remains. She has lived throughout the U.S. Received Fine Arts degree from a Baptist University in TX. She married her husband Mark in Albuquerque in 1993 and their son Erik was born in 1998. She has a 3-year-old dog named Shadow.

She grew up Christian until she started thinking/questioning. Now Agnostic/Evolutionist. She loves babies and dogs and all furry creatures as well as camping, hiking, walking, and recently the hula hoop!

Her husband Mark is from St. Peter, MN, and is a risk manager for Gates Corp. Their son Erik graduated in 2016 and then completed his Associates in Applied Science and is now a traveling wind turbine technician. He’s also a very responsible, respectable and loving human being!

Brenda has worked in retail, mostly, selling fine china, crystal all things shiny and pretty; furniture, flooring, and home interiors. She started Busy Bee Organizing PLUS in 2006 and it’s going strong!

She first visited PrairieUU in October 2006 and joined immediately! She signed up to help as a greeter and an RE teacher for Erik’s age class. She loves and lives the UU faith and continues to support PrairieUU in all ways.
